Dear Customer

Unfortunately one of our webmail customers sent approximately fifty thousand spam emails through the webmail system in the early hours of Tuesday morning and this has resulted in delaying the delivery of emails to your mailbox(es).

We believed we had fixed the problems yesterday afternoon and that the emails held in the mail queue would start to filter down, unfortunately this has not been the case.

We realize that this is service is mission critical to our customers and we currently have our technical team creating a new email server to filter your emails and fix the problem as quickly as possible.

We will keep you updated on our progress using this email address, however if you want to speak to a member of the support team please call 0870 486 6009.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.

Regards

Dear Customer

We have been informed by our technical tam that they have now rebuilt the email server. The team are currently configuring the software and then have to connect it to our DNS and test it is working correctly.

Once this is complete they will divert the mail queue to this server and your email should start to filter through.

We will keep you updated on our progress using this email address, however if you want to speak to a member of the support team please call 0870 486 6009.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.

Dear Customer

Unfortunately the technical team have found a few problems during testing of the new email server and this has delayed the resumption of the webmail service.

The technical team are currently fixing the issues and will begin the second test shortly.  Once this has been completed successfully they will divert the mail queue to this server and your email should start to filter through.

We will keep you updated on our progress using this email address, however if you want to speak to a member of the support team please call 0870 486 6009.

Dear Customer

We now have two email servers working on the email backlog and but there is still an email queue which is being cleared.

If an email sender has received a bounce message, then we do not have a copy of the email in the queue and the email will need to be resent. Also some sending email servers may still be holding on to undelivered emails and will only attempt to resend them after a certain time period - this is of course out of @UK's control.

We will keep you updated on our progress using this email address, however if you want to speak to a member of the support team please call 0870 486 6009.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.
